Frank Yantorno Sr. Passes away at 86
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank A. Yantorno on April 11, 2012.
Frank was one of the 3 brothers who founded Center Greenhouse in 1950. His brother Carl passed away in 1984 and his brother Pete in 2008.
Frank had a great love for our business and enjoyed being in the greenhouse and around our customers. He made truck deliveries to the garden centers until he was in his late seventies. When he was no longer able to make deliveries, he continued to come out to the greenhouse twice a day to take a walk.
He is survived by his wife Catherine, son Frank (wife Carol), Daughter Beverly (husband Dale), Grandchildren Ken (wife Angela), Brian (wife Jamie), Kim and Pete along with 5 Great-Grandchildren.
